Quality Assurance Analyst

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Test Planning: Collaborate with the development team to develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on functional and technical specifications.
2. Test Execution: Conduct functional, regression, and performance testing to identify defects and ensure software reliability across different platforms and environments.
3. Defect Management: Document and track defects using designated tools, and work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution and retesting.
4. Quality Assurance Processes: Continuously improve quality assurance processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
5. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on quality standards and requirements.
6. Reporting: Prepare and present test results and quality metrics to relevant stakeholders, including recommendations for improvement.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
2. Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Analyst or similar role, preferably in a software development environment.
3. Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
4. Experience with test automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Selenium, Python) is a plus.
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
6. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively interact with cross-functional teams.
7. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
