Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and peripherals.
- Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues in a timely manner, escalating more complex problems to the appropriate IT personnel if necessary.
- Assist in the setup and configuration of new computers, laptops, and mobile devices for employees.
- Maintain documentation of IT procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting guides.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure efficient operation of IT systems and infrastructure.
- Participate in IT projects and initiatives as assigned.
- Keep abreast of new technologies and trends in IT support.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience working in IT support or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and/or Mac operating systems.
- Experience with Microsoft Office 365, Active Directory, and other IT management tools.
- Familiarity with network technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, etc.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) are a plus.
