Job Description

You will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security incidents, as well as implementing proactive measures to mitigate risks and enhance our overall security posture.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor security events and alerts generated by various security tools and systems.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and gaps in our defenses.
  • Analyze security logs and investigate potential security incidents to determine their nature and scope.
  • Develop and implement security controls, policies, and procedures to protect against emerging threats.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to remediate security vulnerabilities and implement security best practices.
  • Stay abreast of the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies to continually improve our security posture.
  • Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on cybersecurity-related matters.
  • Participate in incident response activities, including containment, eradication, and recovery efforts.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
  • Proven experience working in a cybersecurity role, preferably in a corporate or enterprise environment.
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, technologies, and best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and endpoint protection solutions.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or GIAC are a plus.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, with a strong sense of accountability and ownership.
