Job Description

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask efficiently.

Responsibilities:

  1. Administrative Support: Assist with various administrative tasks, including answering phones, scheduling appointments, and maintaining patient records.
  2. Communication: Serve as a liaison between patients, medical staff, and other departments within the facility. Relay messages accurately and in a timely manner.
  3. Patient Care: Provide assistance to patients and their families by addressing inquiries, directing them to appropriate resources, and ensuring their comfort and well-being.
  4. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including admissions, discharges, and transfers. Ensure confidentiality of patient information at all times.
  5. Supply Management: Monitor and replenish office and medical supplies as needed. Assist with inventory management to ensure adequate stock levels.
  6. Clerical Duties: Perform basic clerical tasks such as typing, filing, photocopying, and faxing documents. Organize and maintain filing systems for easy retrieval of information.
  7. Quality Assurance: Participate in quality improvement initiatives and compliance with regulatory standards. Report any issues or concerns to the appropriate personnel.

Requirements:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent.
  2. Proven experience in a clerical or administrative role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  3. Strong organizational and time management skills.
  4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  5. Proficiency in basic computer applications, including MS Office.
  6. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work well under pressure.
  7. Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare procedures is a plus.
  8. Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
