Job Description
The role requires building and maintaining relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and providing product information and support to ensure customer satisfaction and achieve sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales and Business Development:
- Identify and target potential clients within the assigned territory.
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base.
- Present and promote company products to healthcare professionals through face-to-face meetings, presentations, and events.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Provide clients with product information, updates, and training as needed.
- Market Research and Analysis:
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor products, and market conditions.
- Gather and report customer feedback and market insights to the sales and marketing teams.
- Identify opportunities for product improvement and new product development.
- Compliance and Documentation:
- Ensure all sales activities comply with industry regulations and company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and sales data.
- Prepare and submit regular sales reports and forecasts to the Regional Sales Manager.
- Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with marketing, customer service, and product development teams to enhance customer satisfaction and drive sales growth.
- Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of sales experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical products and the healthcare industry.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
- Self-motivated with a proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Other Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
