Data Analyst
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, clean, and manipulate large datasets from multiple sources to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and correlations that can provide valuable insights.
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders effectively.
- Conduct statistical analysis and hypothesis testing to validate assumptions and support decision-making.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into data-driven solutions.
- Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains through data analysis.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data analysis and visualization techniques.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or matplotlib.
- Familiarity with statistical analysis techniques and tools such as Python, R, or SAS.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to present findings to non-technical audiences.
- Detail-oriented with a passion for accuracy and data quality.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.
- Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and techniques.
- Experience with data modeling and predictive analytics.
