Job Description

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Data Scientist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing large amounts of raw information to find patterns that will help improve our company. We will rely on you to build data products to extract valuable business insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect, process, and clean datasets from various sources.
  • Develop and implement data models, algorithms, and statistical analyses to answer complex business questions.
  • Identify valuable data sources and automate collection processes.
  • Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends and patterns.
  • Build predictive models and machine-learning algorithms.
  • Present information using data visualization techniques.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product development teams to integrate data insights into products.
  • Stay current with advancements in data science and apply them as needed.
  • Communicate results and findings to stakeholders through clear and concise reports and presentations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field. Ph.D. is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Data Scientist or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of data mining, machine learning, and statistical modeling.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java.
  • Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
  • Familiarity with SQL and database management.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex information in an understandable manner.
  • Experience with big data frameworks such as Hadoop or Spark is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git.
