Fabricator

Job Description

The ideal candidate should have experience working with various metals and tools, such as saws, drills, and welding equipment. Attention to detail, precision, and the ability to work independently are essential for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine materials requirements and fabrication processes.
• Cut, shape, and assemble metal components to create structures or parts, using hand tools, welding equipment, and machinery.
• Measure and mark dimensions and reference points on materials, using measuring instruments.
• Verify conformance of finished workpieces to specifications, using measuring and testing equipment.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Collaborate with engineers and other team members to troubleshoot and resolve fabrication issues.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Fabricator or similar role.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience with various metalworking tools and equipment, including saws, drills, and welding machines.
• Strong attention to detail and precision.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects.
• Certification in welding or relevant field is a plus.

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Vocational training in metal fabrication or a related field is preferred.
