Job Description

This position will support management in making informed business decisions by providing accurate financial data, performance analysis, and forecasts. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Planning and Analysis:
    • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
    • Analyze financial performance against budget and forecast, identifying trends and variances.
    • Provide detailed financial analysis to support business decisions and strategic initiatives.
  2. Financial Reporting:
    • Prepare and distribute monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to management.
    • Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data and reports.
    • Develop and maintain financial models to support reporting and analysis needs.
  3. Cost Analysis and Control:
    • Analyze and monitor costs, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
    • Support department heads in understanding and managing their budgets.
    • Conduct variance analysis and provide explanations for significant deviations.
  4. Data Management and Systems:
    • Maintain financial databases and ensure data integrity.
    • Utilize financial software and systems to improve reporting and analysis capabilities.
    • Continuously seek to enhance data quality and reporting processes.
  5. Business Partnering:
    • Collaborate with various departments to gather financial information and insights.
    • Provide financial guidance and support to business units.
    • Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives.
  6. Compliance and Risk Management:
    • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
    • Assist in the development and implementation of internal controls.
    • Support internal and external audit processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • Professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus.
  • 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or related field.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
  • Experience with financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) is preferred.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
