Job Description

Your primary objective will be to create innovative landscape designs that enhance the natural environment while meeting the needs and desires of our clients.

Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, requirements, and budget for outdoor spaces.
  2. Conduct site analysis to assess environmental factors, such as climate, soil conditions, and existing vegetation.
  3. Develop conceptual designs and present them to clients for feedback and approval.
  4. Create detailed landscape plans, including site plans, planting plans, and construction drawings.
  5. Select appropriate plant species, materials, and construction techniques for each project.
  6. Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and other professionals to ensure the successful implementation of landscape designs.
  7. Monitor construction progress and provide guidance to ensure that designs are implemented according to specifications.
  8. Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and new materials to continuously improve design quality.
  9. Prepare cost estimates and manage project budgets effectively.
  10. Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and stakeholders throughout the design and construction process.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture or related field.
  2. Proven experience as a Landscape Architect, with a portfolio showcasing successful projects.
  3. Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or Adobe Creative Suite.
  4. Strong design skills and creative thinking ability.
  5. Knowledge of plant materials, horticulture, and sustainable landscape practices.
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  7. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under deadlines.
  8. Understanding of zoning regulations, building codes, and environmental regulations.
  9. Certification from the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) is preferred but not required.
  10. Flexibility to travel to project sites and attend meetings as needed.
