Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Assist attorneys with all aspects of case preparation and management.
  • Conduct legal research and gather relevant information to support case strategies.
  • Draft and proofread legal documents, including correspondence, pleadings, and agreements.
  • Maintain organized and accurate case files, both in physical and electronic formats.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
  • Schedule appointments, hearings, and other important dates for attorneys.
  • Assist with billing and invoicing processes, including tracking billable hours.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as answering phones, filing, and managing office supplies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies, Paralegal Studies, or related field preferred.
  • Previous experience working as a Legal Assistant or in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of legal terminology, procedures, and documentation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research databases.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently under pressure.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information.
