Job Description

As the Operations Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing and optimizing our day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of our operations, including but not limited to:

  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement operational strategies aligned with company goals and objectives.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in operational processes and implement solutions to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and increase profitability.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of operations staff, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Performance Management: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the performance of operational activities, regularly monitor performance, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Resource Allocation: Allocate resources effectively to ensure optimal utilization and alignment with business priorities.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external vendors and suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs) and quality standards.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee inventory control processes, including procurement, storage, and distribution, to maintain optimal inventory levels and minimize stockouts.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality assurance processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality products/services to customers.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards, and company policies/procedures.
  • Risk Management: Identify operational risks and develop strategies to mitigate risks and ensure business continuity.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the operations budget, monitor expenses, and identify opportunities for cost savings.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular reports and presentations on operational performance for senior management, highlighting key metrics, trends, and areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and optimizing operational processes to achieve business objectives.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve exceptional results.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Solid understanding of relevant regulations, industry standards, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software applications.
  • [Optional] Certification in operations management or related field (e.g., Certified Operations Professional, Six Sigma Green Belt).
