Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the healthcare facility, including scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation to ensure smooth workflow and optimal patient care.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and protocols to enhance efficiency, safety, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Manage administrative staff, including hiring, training, evaluating performance, and fostering a positive work environment conducive to professional growth and development.
- Collaborate with medical staff, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to coordinate patient care and support interdisciplinary teamwork.
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of healthcare services provided, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to enhance patient satisfaction and outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and best practices in healthcare administration.
- Oversee financial management activities, including budgeting, billing, revenue cycle management, and cost control measures.
- Maintain electronic health records (EHR) systems and utilize healthcare information technology to streamline administrative processes and facilitate data-driven decision-making.
- Serve as a liaison between the healthcare facility and external stakeholders, such as regulatory agencies, insurance providers, and community organizations.
- Stay informed about current trends, developments, and innovations in healthcare administration and apply best practices to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, inspire, and mentor staff members.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in healthcare management software and electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance requirements, and accreditation standards.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to improve performance and outcomes.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and maintaining patient confidentiality and privacy.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Certification in healthcare administration or related field (e.g., Certified Healthcare Administrator, Certified Medical Practice Executive) is a plus.
