Job Description

Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee day-to-day operations of the healthcare facility, including scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation to ensure smooth workflow and optimal patient care.
  2. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and protocols to enhance efficiency, safety, and compliance with regulatory standards.
  3. Manage administrative staff, including hiring, training, evaluating performance, and fostering a positive work environment conducive to professional growth and development.
  4. Collaborate with medical staff, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to coordinate patient care and support interdisciplinary teamwork.
  5. Monitor and evaluate the quality of healthcare services provided, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to enhance patient satisfaction and outcomes.
  6. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and best practices in healthcare administration.
  7. Oversee financial management activities, including budgeting, billing, revenue cycle management, and cost control measures.
  8. Maintain electronic health records (EHR) systems and utilize healthcare information technology to streamline administrative processes and facilitate data-driven decision-making.
  9. Serve as a liaison between the healthcare facility and external stakeholders, such as regulatory agencies, insurance providers, and community organizations.
  10. Stay informed about current trends, developments, and innovations in healthcare administration and apply best practices to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  2. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, inspire, and mentor staff members.
  3. Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  4. Proficiency in healthcare management software and electronic health records (EHR) systems.
  5. Knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance requirements, and accreditation standards.
  6. Demonstrated ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to improve performance and outcomes.
  7. Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and maintaining patient confidentiality and privacy.
  8. Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
  9. Certification in healthcare administration or related field (e.g., Certified Healthcare Administrator, Certified Medical Practice Executive) is a plus.
