Job Description

The role requires building and maintaining relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and providing product information and support to ensure customer satisfaction and achieve sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Business Development:
    • Identify and target potential clients within the assigned territory.
    • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base.
    • Present and promote company products to healthcare professionals through face-to-face meetings, presentations, and events.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
    • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
    • Provide clients with product information, updates, and training as needed.
  • Market Research and Analysis:
    • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor products, and market conditions.
    • Gather and report customer feedback and market insights to the sales and marketing teams.
    • Identify opportunities for product improvement and new product development.
  • Compliance and Documentation:
    • Ensure all sales activities comply with industry regulations and company policies.
    • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and sales data.
    • Prepare and submit regular sales reports and forecasts to the Regional Sales Manager.
  • Team Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with marketing, customer service, and product development teams to enhance customer satisfaction and drive sales growth.
    • Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 2-3 years of sales experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
  • Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical products and the healthcare industry.
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
    • Ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
    • Self-motivated with a proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Other Requirements:
    • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
    • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Working Conditions:

  • This position requires regular travel to meet with clients and attend industry events.
  • Work may involve irregular hours and occasional weekend activities.
