Job Description
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of supply chain principles, data analysis, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various teams to drive efficiency and maximize performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct data analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement within the supply chain.
- Develop and maintain supply chain models, forecasts, and performance metrics to support decision-making processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including procurement, logistics, and operations to optimize inventory levels, reduce lead times, and minimize costs.
- Monitor inventory levels and supplier performance to ensure on-time delivery and minimize stockouts.
- Analyze transportation routes and modes to optimize shipping efficiency and reduce transportation costs.
- Identify and implement process improvements to streamline supply chain operations and enhance overall efficiency.
- Support strategic initiatives such as supplier selection, contract negotiations, and supply chain network optimization.
- Generate regular reports and presentations to communicate key supply chain metrics and insights to stakeholders.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory changes that may impact supply chain operations.
- Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to support company goals and objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience in supply chain analysis, logistics, or related field.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and modeling.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Knowledge of supply chain management software and systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is preferred.
- Certification in supply chain management (e.g., APICS CPIM, CSCMP) is a plus.
