Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct keyword research to identify high-value keywords and search terms relevant to our business and target audience.
  2. Optimize website content, including landing pages, blog posts, and product pages, to improve search engine visibility and drive organic traffic.
  3. Develop and implement on-page optimization strategies, including meta tags, headers, and internal linking, to enhance website performance.
  4. Monitor website performance using tools such as Google Analytics and Google Search Console, and provide regular reports on key metrics such as organic traffic, keyword rankings, and conversion rates.
  5. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO and search engine algorithms, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
  6. Collaborate with content creators, web developers, and other stakeholders to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into website development and content creation processes.
  7. Conduct competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats, and adjust SEO strategies accordingly.
  8. Manage and optimize off-page SEO activities, including link building, social media engagement, and online reputation management.
  9. Identify technical SEO issues and work with the development team to implement solutions and ensure website performance and crawlability.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, computer science, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience in SEO, with a track record of improving organic search rankings and driving measurable results.
  3. Strong understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors.
  4. Proficiency in SEO tools such as SEMrush, Moz, Ahrefs, Google Analytics, and Google Search Console.
  5. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to analyze data, draw insights, and make data-driven decisions.
  6. Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate SEO strategies, recommendations, and results to stakeholders at all levels.
  7. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, with a proactive and results-driven attitude.
  8. Experience with website CMS platforms such as WordPress or Shopify is a plus.
  9. Certifications in SEO or related fields are desirable but not required.
