Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and manage the end-to-end project lifecycle, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closure.
  2. Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
  3. Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets to effectively manage resources and mitigate risks.
  4. Coordinate and communicate with internal teams, clients, and third-party vendors to ensure clear understanding of project requirements and expectations.
  5. Monitor project progress and performance metrics, identify issues and deviations from the plan, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  6. Conduct regular status meetings, provide project updates, and report on key milestones, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders.
  7. Foster a collaborative and positive team environment, encourage open communication, and resolve conflicts in a timely and constructive manner.
  8. Ensure compliance with project management methodologies, standards, and best practices.
  9. Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement, efficiency gains, and knowledge sharing within the organization.
  10. Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in project management to drive continuous improvement and innovation.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field; PMP or PRINCE2 certification preferred.
  2. Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably in the technology sector, with a successful track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
  3. Strong understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and tools, such as Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and Waterfall.
  4. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels of the organization.
  5. Solid problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on driving results and achieving project objectives.
  6. Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  7. Proficiency in project management software, such as Microsoft Project, Jira, or Asana, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  8. Australian residency or valid work permit.
