Barista

Job Description

As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of coffee beverages, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, including espresso, cappuccino, latte, and drip coffee, according to established recipes and quality standards.
• Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner, take customer orders, and process payments accurately.
• Provide product recommendations and answer customer questions about our coffee offerings.
• Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of the coffee bar area, including equipment, countertops, and utensils.
• Restock coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies as needed.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures to ensure the health and safety of our customers and staff.
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude while working with team members and interacting with customers.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, including dress code and attendance standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar role preferred.
• Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and equipment.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
• Attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality products.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
• Food handler’s permit or willingness to obtain one.
