Job Description

This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to anticipate and fulfill guests’ needs in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Warmly welcome guests upon arrival and provide assistance with check-in procedures.
  • Respond promptly to guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional and efficient manner.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences throughout their stay.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of hotel facilities, services, and local attractions to provide guests with accurate information and recommendations.
  • Handle guest requests for special arrangements or services, such as transportation, dining reservations, or recreational activities.
  • Assist with VIP guest relations, including personalized greetings and amenities.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction levels and take proactive measures to address any concerns or areas for improvement.
  • Uphold the company’s standards for cleanliness, hygiene, and safety at all times.
  • Maintain accurate records of guest interactions and feedback for reporting purposes.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve departmental goals and objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in hospitality management, tourism, or a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in a guest-facing role within the hospitality industry is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and outgoing personality.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with guests and colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to remain calm and composed under pressure.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Proficiency in relevant computer applications, such as MS Office and hotel management software.
  • Knowledge of multiple languages is an advantage.
