Job Description

Your creativity, organizational skills, and attention to detail will be crucial in ensuring that each event is a success and exceeds our clients’ expectations. You will work closely with clients to understand their vision and objectives, and then develop customized event plans to bring their ideas to life.

Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with clients to understand their event objectives, preferences, and budgetary constraints.
  2. Develop event proposals, including budgets, timelines, and detailed plans, that align with clients’ goals and expectations.
  3. Source and negotiate with vendors, including venues, caterers, decorators, and entertainment, to secure the best services within budget.
  4. Coordinate all logistical aspects of events, such as venue setup, catering, audiovisual equipment, transportation, and accommodations.
  5. Manage event timelines and ensure that all tasks are completed according to schedule.
  6. Oversee event setup and execution, ensuring that all details are executed flawlessly and that events run smoothly.
  7. Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the planning process and on the day of the event, addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
  8. Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback from clients and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
  2. Proven experience as an Event Planner or similar role, with a strong portfolio of successful events.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and maintain relationships with clients and vendors.
  4. Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  5. Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and design.
  6. Proficiency in event planning software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  7. Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances.
  8. Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
  9. Certification in event planning or hospitality management (desirable).
