Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the end-to-end project lifecycle, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closure.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets to effectively manage resources and mitigate risks.
- Coordinate and communicate with internal teams, clients, and third-party vendors to ensure clear understanding of project requirements and expectations.
- Monitor project progress and performance metrics, identify issues and deviations from the plan, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Conduct regular status meetings, provide project updates, and report on key milestones, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders.
- Foster a collaborative and positive team environment, encourage open communication, and resolve conflicts in a timely and constructive manner.
- Ensure compliance with project management methodologies, standards, and best practices.
- Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement, efficiency gains, and knowledge sharing within the organization.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in project management to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field; PMP or PRINCE2 certification preferred.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably in the technology sector, with a successful track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
- Strong understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and tools, such as Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and Waterfall.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Solid problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on driving results and achieving project objectives.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in project management software, such as Microsoft Project, Jira, or Asana, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Australian residency or valid work permit.
